They started off as kittens in a bungalow up at Widdop, out above Hebden Bridge on the edge of the moor. Indoor at first; outdoor as they grew.
Widdop is high moorland above Hebden Bridge — reservoir, gritstone and a great deal of weather. A bungalow out on the edge of it made a wide world for two kittens to begin in.
